Build a Community, not a Brand
Fashion & Society has changed dramatically over the last few years. It’s no coincidence that Fashion Marketing has too.
Building a successful Fashion Brand is no longer only about the products but also the delivery. Specifically speaking, a Community focused Brand.
The benefits of a Community focused brand are incredible. From Repeat orders & Higher average over value to priceless user generated content.
So let’s get to the point - Our Team of specialists here at HOLY SUPPLY have put together 3 ways to build a Successful Community & Culture focused Brand.
Be Transparent
Be Transparent. We don’t mean making camouflage clothing. However, we mean sharing your brand from unfiltered lenses.
Customers want to know more about the process, people, meaning and other things about your Brand. This helps break a barrier between consumer and seller. With this barrier broken, Customers feel as though they are valued and apart of the brand as there is no visible distance.
Trust is important with any transaction and this is one way to build it.
Understand Your Audience
Take time to consistently learn about your audience.
The ability to know what your Customers need is a skill that is not far from reach. However, knowing how your customers engage and prefer to receive information and products can be different from Brand to Brand.
It’s important to link your brands meaning with the delivery. Think about how they would respond to your Content & products? What are their interests? What music do they listen to? -perhaps only use a specific genre of music that’s related to your audience.
Whatever it may be. Just keep testing.
Constantly look for ways to create an experience
At the end of the day, what do us humans remember the most? - what we have experienced.
Creating opportunities for your Customers to have an experience is our number 1 point.
They will never forget it.
The definition of Community is ‘a group of people living in the same place or having shared experiences or particular characteristic in common’.
An example of this would be a fitness Brand running a monthly Run Club for registered Customers.
Conclusion
Building a Community is one of the most important Strategies for a Fashion Brand to implement.
The way in which you do this will usually be unique to your Brand only. Like most things, you must give it time. A rushed approach doesn’t work.
However, a genuine and consistent strategy will have your brand on it’s way to creating a strong community.
